On a sunny Saturday in May, a merry band of beer enthusiasts in a minibus accepted the challenge to visit the best of Hertfordshire pubs. To partake in ales at venues rated the best in their respective regions – oh such difficulties!

- Old Cross Tavern; Hertford (South Herts)
- Queen’s Head; Allens Green (Herts/Essex Borders)
With the competition tight, we can see that the judges working hard in scoring the beers as indicated by their grins..
